Apricot made from apricot seeds is an emollient oil high in fatty acids and vitamin E. Apricot oil is light, gets absorbed in the skin quickly and offers long-lasting hydration to dry skin. It absorbs easily into the skin and has a slightly sweet, nutty scent that helps smoothen the skin’s texture.

What are carrier oils?

Carrier oil, also known as base oil or vegetable oil, is used to dilute essential oils and absolute before they are applied to the skin in massage and aromatherapy. They carry the essential oil into the skin. They do not contain concentrated aroma, unlike essential oils.
